From April 2023, all in-scope buildings will be required to register with the Building Safety Regulator under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Registering in-scope buildings with the Building Safety Regulator will be the responsibility of the Principal Accountable Person. This will need to be done for any properties that are classifies under the Building Safety Act as being higher-risk - buildings that have more then one residential dwelling and have an upper floor plate over 18m in height or have 7 more upper storeys.
