Against each property, it is possible to state exactly which inspection types are required for a property.
For example, in the system settings, an inspection type of ‘Lift Inspection’ has been created, however ‘Property X’ doesn’t have lifts, as it is single storey. Against this property, the requirement to log lift inspections would be unnecessary.
To set which inspections are required for a property, navigate to the property details screen and click ‘Assign Inspection Types’, found on the light blue menu bar. This will load a new popup.
You will be presented with two options. ‘Copy Inspection Types’ allows you to use another property as a template for inspections that are required. More commonly used is ‘Set available inspection types’ which will allow you to deselect inspections not required.
Clicking this will list out all of the system inspection types and sub-types available. By default, all inspection types are selected.
You are able to simply untick any inspections not required for this property. Once complete, click ‘Save’.
