Progress on an action can be manually updated from within the action detail screen. On the right hand side of an action, you will see a list of options which you can perform, one of which is ‘update progress’.
When clicked, this will display a new popup window. The first field asks for the details of any progress made.
The second field allows you to upload any supporting documentation relating to this progress. To upload, enter a file description, browse to the file and then click upload.
Once the file has been uploaded, click ‘save’.
When an action is recorded all the way through to the action being marked off as completed, information on any changes or updates on the action are automatically logged in the ‘action history’. This information includes any progress updates added, if the ownership of the action is changed, if requests for an extension or authorisation are made and approved or if any of the details of the action are amended.
The full history of the action can be found in the main action detail screen, which can be accessed by clicking on the tab at the top of the window, labelled ‘Action History’.
