Navigate to the Inspections & Events tab highlighted in red below:
Select the Log New Inspection Button
In the Log New Inspection page, the first step is to specify the main type of inspection which can be done by pressing on the Inspection Type button and then selecting the appropriate type from the menu. Once the main type has been selected and if applicable, the second step is to specify the sub inspection type which can be done by pressing on the Inspection Type button and then selecting the appropriate type from the menu as shown in the image below;
In the box below the inspection type menus, there is the option to add in some Inspection Notes. This is a free text area and is not mandatory but could be useful to enter some further details about the inspection, for example the weather conditions at the time the inspection was carried out.
You then need to enter date information and pressing on the Inspection Date button opens up a calendar from which the date can be selected.
You will now need to specify whether the inspection we are logging is going to be a One-Off Inspections / Event or if it will be recurring on a particular schedule by pressing on the ‘This Inspection Will Be’ button. A One-Off means that we will be logging a single occurrence and this will not be available for review. By selecting Due for Review, we need to specify the date on which this inspection will next occur, for example, if it is a daily event, then selecting the next day’s date is appropriate.
Please note that if the Inspection has already been placed on to a schedule, then you do not need to log a Brand New Event but rather you need to ensure you select the correct Inspection Type and occurrence from the Scheduled Inspections area of the RiskWise App.
