How do I set up Action Approval?

The Action Approval function will need to be applied to a RiskWise system and the relevant user permissions granted for certain user levels. Furthermore, the Action Approval function will need to be applied to events from the Settings tab and then Event / Inspection Types. Simply click onto the ‘Edit’ pencil icon against the relevant Event / Inspection types and then a pop-up screen will appear where you will need to then select ‘Yes’ on the Action Approval Option and then save.

The Action Approval functionality will now be applied to the relevant Inspection types which you have selected and any actions that are raised against these inspection type. Now, any site based users who are looking to have an action completed for this inspection type will have to select the instead click the ‘Action Approval’ icon, instead of the two action completed buttons.
