Contractor Documents can be stored within the ‘Documents’ area of contractor company highlighted in red below:
In the documents folder, there are subfolders available for non-date driven documents to be stored in.
To upload a document select a folder name and then within the grey tool on the right hand side of the screen, select ‘Upload File’.
RiskWise is able to accept files of any size, however, files larger than 10MB will generally struggle to upload to an online server. This is due to the time taken for this process to complete, as the computer requires a consistent connection with the online server, which unfortunately isn't always possible over a long time period.
Special characters in either the file name or in the name of the folders the file is contained can prevent the file from uploading. Characters such as dashes, underscores and ampersands would need to be removed by renaming the file or folder prior to uploading the document.
Documents stored within multiple folders can also take longer to upload. To reduce the time taken you may wish to either move or re-save the document to your desktop, prior to uploading it.
Your system administrator is able to configure the Documents Library.
Please note that only the following file types are able to be uploaded onto the RiskWise system:
doc,docx,pdf,txt,png,jpg,jpeg,bmp,avi,mp4,mov,xls,xlsx.
