The ‘Quick Search’ button can be found on any page within the system, in the upper right hand corner and exists to help the user quickly find any action, event, or property on the system.
Clicking on the ‘Quick Search’ button will bring up a popup box with two fields. The first of these is used for selecting which type of search is required, with the available options depending upon the modules which the user has access to.
The second of the two boxes is used for entering the term to be searched for.
The ‘Quick Search’ tool will look through the part of the system selected and bring back a list of all items which match the criteria.
For example in the ‘Property’ tab, the system will search through the property name, city, folio number and country for the term.
For another search type, such as ‘Actions’, the system will look through the associated fields, such as ‘Action Reference’, ‘Action Required’ and ‘Action Details’ amongst others.
