Once activated the SafeContractor link will transfer of information on the contractors that are registered on SafeContractor. This is only applicable for approved contractors.
Once the functionality has been activated, a new tab will appear in the Contractor details page, once you have selected a Contractor. The transfer uses the contractor ID as the mapping for the data, so any existing contractor companies will be updated with the latest information. A contractor will be placed as ‘Un-vetted’ on RiskWise when the contractor ID on RiskWise does not match SafeContractor.
If there are new contractors provided by SafeContractor, RiskWise will create a contractor company with the details provided by SafeContractor. This will not include all of the information that can be stored on RiskWise, as it is limited to just the details SafeContractor provide.
Within this tab, contractor information such as Contractor Name, Contractor address, Status, Work actives and Insurance Expiry dates will be auto populated. However, the SafeContrator link will not populate the contractor’s property list or contractor staff users, this will need to be done manually.
The Contractor status will automatically change to Under Review on RiskWise if the expiry date lapses on any of the insurance dates within this tab. Furthermore, any updates made will show within the History Log on each Contractor. To setup the SafeContractor link on RiskWise, please contact your RiskWise Account Manager for more information.
Contractors can also be excluded from SafeContractor updates, meaning that when the option ‘Exclude Contractor from SafeContractor Updates’ is selected, the contractor details will not be updated in RiskWise and they will be ignored by the SafeContractor link.
