To add a new Dashboard on RiskWise, you will need to click onto the Dashboard tab and then once on this tab, simply click onto the green icon named “Add Dashboard”.
Once this icon has been clicked, a pop up screen will then appear where you will need to input your dashboards name and then save. Then you will need to press the “Add Widget” icon in the top left hand corner.
A popup will appear. When a Widget Type is selected a description and preview of the widget will display, giving you guidance before you proceed.
Once you have selected the type, click Continue. On next page you will then be able to select the category and Chart Type of the graph and then once you continue, the next page will give you the option to filter the graph by Properties and Users.
The Inspection Status filter options for Dashboard widgets is split between either Completed (all, on time, late) or Outstanding (all, due, overdue). Furthermore, All Incident charts have "Property Country" as an option in the "Choose a Field to Group your Data by" drop down. All of these charts can be grouped by Country and the Country is an available field when drilling down.
Depending on which template you selected will determine the information you will be required to confirm. You can give all widgets a title and add notes before saving and you will also be given the option to group your data and add or remove legend keys and value labels.
Once created, we have introduced the functionality to drag and resize panels, the widget will fill the space accordingly, meaning that wasted space will be kept to a minimum. To do this, please click ‘Enable Editing’. Once completed click ‘Finish Edit’ and the format you have chosen will be saved.
Within each widget clicking on the ‘eye’ will take you through to the ‘full version’ of the widget, clicking into the number/chart takes you through to the details stats/data sitting behind the stat/graph.
Once a dashboard has been set up and the layout saved, users can share their dashboards with other users/user groups. To share a dashboard, click onto the blue ‘Share Dashboard’ icon in the top right hand corner of your screen where a pop up will then appear.
There will be two types of share options available –
Read Only – this allows users you have shared your dashboard with to view but not edit the dashboard
Copy – this will take a copy of your dashboard, share it with selected users/user groups which can then be modified
A dashboard can also be converted into a PDF and MS Word document. This can be done by clicking onto the small orange icon in the top right hand corner of your screen.
The front page will be customised to the system you are using and will display in the order you have laid out in RiskWise.
