Having issues uploading documents?

Below are some useful tips and guidance notes for when uploading documents to RiskWise.

RiskWise is able to accept files of any size, however files larger than 20MB will generally struggle to upload to an online server. This is due to the time taken for this process to complete, as the computer requires a consistent connection with the online server, which unfortunately isn't always possible over a long time period.

Special characters in either the file name or in the name of the folders the file is contained, can prevent the file from uploading. Characters such as dashes, underscores and ampersands would need to be removed by re-naming the file or folder prior to uploading the document.

Documents stored within multiple folders can also take longer to upload. To reduce the time taken you may wish to either move or re-save the document to your desktop, prior to uploading it.
