How do I create a new waste stream?

To create a new property waste stream, from the ‘Environmental Management’ module, from the ‘Property List’ tab click on ‘Waste Streams’, found in the top green menu bar. The new screen that loads is the waste stream list, displaying any existing streams attached to that particular property. 

Click ‘Add Waste Stream’ found within the ‘Tool Menu’. The ‘Add Waste Stream’ popup will be displayed. 

You will be prompted to enter a name for the stream. This is free text, but should be a summary of the stream.

The ‘Waste Type’ is a drop down menu allowing you to choose from a selection of pre-set waste codes. Once a type is selected, the code, classification and description will be updated.

Once all data has been entered, click ‘Save’ and the waste stream will be added immediately to the waste stream list screen.
