If your system has the RIDDOR functionality configured, the system will assist you in identifying if the Incident logged potentially requires sending to the HSE.
The system will check and highlight against the Incident that this should be reported to the HSE, and a banner will appear as per the image below:
In addition to this, Email escalations can be configured to notify users when a potential RIDDOR is logged.
Once identified as a potential RIDDOR a user with appropriate permissions can then review the Incident and submit it to the HSE via the system.
This can be done by clicking the ‘Send to HSE’ button, highlighted in the image above, which will then highlight any additional mandatory fields required for HSE submission and ask the User to fill these in. Once this form is then completed and submit a notification will be triggered from the system to the HSE and a reference number will be provided back. The reference number will be visible against the Incident for future reference.
