To set a new issue type please go to the settings tab and select ‘Action Types’ under the subsection “Service types” as outlined in the screenshot below:
You then need to select ‘Add Action Type Category’ ,in the options menu in the top right-hand corner of the screen, which can be selected in any of the tabs
You will be present with the below window and on here you can pick which module that you want to log the new action type for. As this is for the service desk module please select ‘Service’.
You can then add in the category name and click on the blue plus to it which will drop down into the categories to add box.
The contractor work activities box will allow you to decide which work activities are associated with this action type. Only contractors with the same work activities assigned as the ones assigned to the action type will be able to be assigned this action type.
